The Review section of Public Works Management & Policy (PWMP) intends to provide readers with an opportunity to examine the proceedings of professional meetings and the results of research reports important to public works managers. Reviews capture the essence and insights of these documents and guide the reader to further pursuit of the topics. This review examines a round table discussion on innovation for public infrastructure finance conducted at the University of Southern California (USC), Sacramento Center, in December 2000. Coordinated by USC’s National Center for Innovations in Public Finance, the Roundtable focused on public/private partnerships and innovative models and tools for developing and operating infrastructure systems.
