Isi artikel
Every pediatric practice includes many patients with refractive problems. Some of these problems pose a serious threat to vision, others significantly affect performance or comfort but cause no lasting harm, and many have little or no impact on the child’s life. Some are likely to need lifelong attention, whereas others represent an active concern only for a few years. Some require that the child wear glasses full time; others permit correction on a part-time or discretionary basis. This article helps make sense of these varied, important, and much misunderstood disorders.
