Based on 2-Methoxyethanol toxicity and characteristic of extract ginseng java root extract ginseng java root which is stimulate spermatogenesis in mice. These research were designed for to evaluate (1) the incidence of testicular injury which is induced by 2-ME, (2) the capability of extract of java ginseng root to repair of testicular damage and, (3) the term of application of java ginseng java root extract repair testicular damage. The experiment was being grouped into 3 random groups, for one or some treatment in a group. 2-ME was grouped into three random groups and for one group were divided in one or more sub-group 2-ME werw injected intraperitoneally at dose of 200 mg/kg of body weigh per day for 4, 5, 6, and 7 the weeks. Testes were observed histologically. 2-ME can caused decrease the diameter of seminiferous tubules, thick of seminiferous tubules epithel and the number of spermatogonic cells ie, spermatogonia, spermatocyt, and oval spermatid. However in groups of 2-ME treated following of java ginseng extract show that thr recovery of testicular damage was faster compare to the group of 2-ME treated without java ginseng extract including in the diameter of seminiferous tubules, thick of seminiferous tubules epithel and the number of spermatogonic cells. From these data we suggested that java ginseng extract can promote the recovery of testicular damage caused by 2-ME.
