Quercetin 3-0-a-L rhamnoside had been reported to have antifertility activity in male mice. In order to obtain a more potential compound quercetin pentaacetate has been prepared. The biological activity test was performed according to Randomized Control Group Only Design. The stastitical analysis of biological activity concluded that this compound has antifertility activity in male mice, but there is no a significant diffrence between the potency of its activity with those of quercetin 3-0-a-L rhamnoside.Quercetin 3-0-a-L rhamnoside had been reported to have antifertility activity in male mice.
