Isi artikelThis research is designed to provide necessary and sufficient conditions of the existence of observer for linear continuous-time systems over commutative ring with identity. To construct the existence of observer of the linear systems, we are defined of reachability and observability concepts by using block-input/block-output form approach. Next, by investigating of the input and output blocks form the system, we can prove that duality theorem is hold if the observability concept is replaced by strong observability. Based an the strong observability and assignability properties, existence of observer for linear continuoustime systems over commutative ring can be constructed, especially deadbeat observer. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of observers are also determined.
