The Comfortable distance of 'shof sholat' is one of the factors to support better praying during “Sholat” (praying) together in the mosque. So, it is needed adequate distance of shof for enjoying people to pray. The purpose of study was to measure the comfortable distance of the 'shof sholat' in the mosque in kecamatan Sukolilo Surabaya. The design of this observasional study was cross sectional. There was 10 mosques covered in the study and conducted by student of faculty of public health as respondents. Average length of student body during 'sujud' has 100,42 ± 4,24 cm, while maximum length of sholat body was 110 cm. The result of the study showed that 8 out 10 mosques have a length of the 'shof sholat' = 110 cm and only 2 them have = 110 cm length. In conclusion, there was 2 out of 10 masques (20%) have enough space for their prayer ('jama'ah'), since the length of their shof = 110 cm. It is recommended for further research to decide a standart of length of shof to make the prayers praying comfortably.
