This research tries to identify correlation among four independent variables of QCC (Quality Control Circle): (1) genders of the QCC participants, (2) seniority of the members, (3) type of business and (4) country of origin of QCC with multiple dependent variables: (1) tools used to solve the problems in QCC, (2) process or steps used, and (3) measurement of the result applied by QCC. The result show that the country of origin is the only independent variable which is likely correlates with tools used and process applied in QCC. The abroad (outside Indonesia) QCC tends to be more unstructured. On the other side, QCC Indonesia is likely more structure in using tools and keeps 8 steps of problem solving perfectly in QCC. This may implies that QCC Indonesia is rigid in follow the QCC rule that may causes less creativity, high reluctance to change for QCC improvement und more concern to the criteria competition rather than the quality improvement it self. Both cluster, QCC Indonesia and QCC abroad agree that measurement of the QCC result tends to be more quantitative, especially financial measurement. The method used is content analysis from the QCC reports in the Proceeding of the convention and calculated by ANOVA (Analysis of Variance). The sample used is from all participants of International Convention in Quality Control Circle (ICQCC) 1991 in Bali. QCC reports calculated in this research include 62 QCC participants from ICQCC 1991 that consist of QCC Indonesia (31 QCCs) and from abroad (27 QCCs). This research paper is still in progress for comparing the participants of ICQCC 2006 in Bali that has been held in the end of November 2006.
