For some companies which deal in manufacturing, a procedure analysis of raw material purchasing and stock controlling is an essential step to enable of production processing. A company needs to maximize these activities so that straightening and punctuality of production can be achieved as demanded by customers. Descriptive method is applied in this research by using survey appraoch. There are two techniques of data collection. First, communication technique by interviewing to purchasing and production sections. Second observation, the techniques of data analysis used qualitative and percentage analysis. Based on analysis results on procedure of raw material purchasing in PT. X showed that some weakness found particularly in purchasing division which did not concern party hand to check and sort out raw material and incomplete documents in order of raw material. Meanwhile, analysis resulted in raw material controlling categorized enough since 5 (five) criteria only could fulfill an optimal controlling standard and 8 (eight) criteria or it fulfilled 62,5%.
