This study continues previous works on Indonesian Intercultural Sensitivity (ICS) as a beneficial competence for Indonesians working in global competition. Earlier works pointed out that there is a similar pattern of Indonesian ICS that is performed in monocultural and international workgroups. This study attempts to identify profiles of Indonesian ICS, both in Indonesian workgroups and international workgroups. Furthermore, the study focuses on revealing the dynamics of Indonesian ICS in international working context. An Indonesian ICS scale is given to 212 Indonesian practitioners from various kinds of organization and a semi-structured interview is conducted with another 7 Indonesians with international working experiences. Similar Indonesian ICS profiles for both working groups are revealed and a model is developed to outline the dynamic process of Indonesian ICS. |
