| The teenagers in Jakarta have special language called ''bahasa gaul". Their language pattern include fonology, lexicon, morphology, syntax, and semantic. Generally their language has enriched Indonesian lexical "treasures" by creating new understandable words. In sentence structure, they use English structure like "where " as a conjunction. They also use regional language structure, besides they omitt affixes to make their speech brief. Semantically, many words change their meaning. Of course, all of these make their language style far from being standard language, and it influences them when they write a paper or a research report. |
