In a hotel in doha, capital of watar, on may 23, japanese minister for foreign affairs aso taro and south korean minister of foreign affairs and trade ban ki moon held a meeting for about an hour and a half. It took five months to bring these two ministers together again since the last time they met and the meeting had to be arranged in a third country, in the sidelines of a ministerial meeting in the multilateral talks of the asia cooperation dialogue.
