The societal atmosphere of education in indonesia needs an alternative pedagogy. Morality decadency and societal life demand a good educational process, which does not alienate students from the environment and daily situation. pedagogy in higher education system should provide education of self reliance, responsibility, solidarity and sensitivity to surroundings. Such pedagogy transforms traditional pedagogy as narrative or story to become history in which students involve. Dialogue, open minded, discussion and public space characterized this pedagogy. Students are the center on the process of education so that they trained themselves to be master of technology and the agents of new knowledge and invention. This will help the students to be ready to become the subject of technology and knowledge and well as social changes.
