This thesis intends to describe the Jero's role conflict. Jero is a Balinese Sudra woman who gets married with a Brahmana man. after married Jero has a new role in Geria, the Brahmana family. according to this new role, Jero should behave in a distinction manner, e.g. eat separately to Geria family. shortly, formally Geria receives Jero as a Brahmana, but actually Jero should behave in such polite behavior as if she is a Sudra woman.
