Criminal newspaper as a mass media usually publish its news exaggerativelly. If this stimulant received in a long time or simulteneously, it will create negative perception on social life condition. The research result experimentally showed that : 1. dramatic criminal news will influence hate and sad (factor of powerless) 2. sex influences sense of nervous, fear and worry (factor of fear) 3. combination between dramatic criminal news and sex influence the sense of worry, fear (factor of fear) Both independent variables do not influence the audience's perception about level of risk to be a victim.
