The 2004 indian ocean earthquake on 26 december 2004 generated a tsunami that was among the deadliest disasters in modern history. The earthquake originated off the westen coast of northern sumatra, indonesia. It devasted the shores of indonesia, sri lanka, south india. Thailand and other countries with waves of up to 50 feet high. AMong those coutnries, indonesia was the first and worst hit.....
