We have shown that by combining time - of - flight measurements over several paths with external measurements of transmitter and receiver locations generating those paths the relevant acoustic parameters and dimensional measurements can be extracted. It remains to be shown, theoretically and experimentally, that these methods can be successfully combined in a practical system that addresses natural geometries combining the impediments that we have herein addressed only separately.
