An ever changing and growing industry creates greater potential for conflict within organizations. The biotechnology workplace embodies diversity it is a cultural melting pot with many perspectives and ideologies creating a rich foundation for innovation and creativity. Its face pace, constant change and growth, and sometimes limited resources make for a dynamic environment in which miscommunication can lead to conflict. Unresolved conflict in the workplace is costly and may lead to low morale and strained collaboration. Effects are seen in declining productivity, organizational and individual stress, unscheduled absences, increased sick leave and medical claims and ultimately lower levels of employee retention and recruitment....
