Aquachem is a software package developed specifically for management and interpretation of aqueous geochemical data. This program covers a wide range of creation hydrochemical database, checking analytical data, plotting data in visual graphics, simple or complex calculations of hydrochemical data set. To make data interpretation easier, this program also provides thirteen types of visual graphics such as piper, durov, schoeller, ternary and stiff. In this paper, aquachem program was used for interpretation of major anions and cautions contained in shallow groundwater and irrigation channel of citarum at karawang site. Groundwater samples were taken from dug or pump wells with 15 - 40 depths, carried put in dry seasons of June - August 2002. Composition of anions and cations caused by mixing or evaporation process can be calculated easily theough this program. It was also estimated that six percents of KrSB-2 groundwater was mized with seawater. Some visual graphic showed that citarum river has water type of NAHCO3 of fresh water whereas a few of groundwater samples could be classified as NaCl water type of rather brackhis water. Most shallow groundwater of karawang indicated a mixing composition of CaSO4, Ca-Mg-HCO3 and NaHCO3 water type.
