The association's net income increased 5,9% over the previous fiscal year. This result is chiefly due to an increase in membership (partial offset by a modest decrease in library subscriptions) and advertising revenues and a reduction in journal production costs. New, reduced membership fees went into effect starting with renewals for 2006. Membership total over the past five years can look at the table.
