The natural resources of Jakarta is practically unavailable. land space has been depleted due to building of residential areas Jakarta has developed into surrounding areas known as Botabek consisting of Bogor, Tangerang and Bekasi, in order to support it from traffic jam improverishment and floods. The study objective is to determine the reslilience of land / cover / use in the Botabek region in line with preservation of natural resources due to development of Jakarta. The study used visual interpretation and delineation of land cover / use by interpretation of remote sensing data. The study results showed that : 1. spatial information data can be divided into 8 classes of land cover / use 2. the tendency of unification of crowded housing in Botabek and Jakarta , and 3. there is still balance between natural resources and crowded housing, however there is an increase of crowded population in Botabek.
