Technology is smething embedded in Japanese society. Products of technology also surround the lives of the Japanaese. Technology has been assisying the Japanese in their lives and also their economy. Japanese products based on technology have been reported all over the world, bringing high income to this country. Japanese products, especially automobiles and electronic products, are known for their high quality and long life. Indeed, the main Japanese exports are machinery and equipment that have made many innovations in science and technology. For many years, these products, which are the leading export items, are the highest quality in the world. because of technology's role within the economy of Japan, products based on technology have been developed with the latest innovations. To Japanese people, technology is an inseparable thing in their lives. But it is also technology that has been changing Japanese values and traditions. The Japanese must pay the cost of their dependence upon technology. Japanese people who have always placed importance on the value of harmony with other people and with nature. are now disturbed by the negative impacts of the technology they have been using. They must identity the impacts of technology on their society or technology will destroy the social structures that have been the base of Japanese society for thousands of years. In the near future Japanese people, especially their youth will become technology controlled society. technology will become their new ideology.
