Isi artikelCognitive models have been used recently to explain the nature and cause of specific reading disorder or dyslexia. Compared to other models, cognitive models provide convincing suggestions about efficient focused interventions. However, even a good cognitive model does not take into account the variability and complexity of the cause of dyslexia. There is no such comprehensive model in the practical world. Thus, a practitioner needs to adopt an electric approach. This means selecting a model that mathces the child's needs the best.
