Problem of poorness have been exist in indonesia and has also been long strived to be abolished, but there has still been exist of this problem and other problem such as the difference of status between rich and poor. In the period of colonial government, the old older then in the period of the new order, in fact that the new order government more successfull in handling of the problem of poorness. During 30 year, in the period of the new order. The amount of indonesian people which are udner poorness can be decreased. 70 million people in the year 1960an which had been tending to unstable especially in economic sector. However, number of Indonesia people which must live under poorness, againg in the year 1999 becoming 37,5 million people and had increased in the year 2000 equal to 37,3 million people. From statistic resulted that poorness estimation influenced by unemployment and level of education are significant. there is a relationship between unemployment and poorness.
