Crypreservation of baung Mystus nemurus spermatozoa were examined. present study was to evaluate the effect of various cryprotectant on motility and fertility of baung spermatozoa after long-term cryopreservation (18 months) . four cryprotectants, DMSO, ethanol, methanol and glycerol at concentrations of 10 % were tested. various cryprotectants were added to solutions of sperm which was diluted in Ringer solution at 20 :1 ratio at 4oC respestively and crypreserved in liquid nitrogen for 18 months.
