Isi artikelEnergy lost in the operation of agricultural wheeled vehicles such as tractors, rotary tiller, combines, etc, is considerably influenced by wheel types (peumatic wheels, crawler puddle wheels) and actual physical soil condition (soil moisture and soil variability). the significant lost is occurred during horizontal as weel as vertical soil deformation processes (wheel slip, rolling resistance, and soil compaction). horizontal deformation increases soil slacking, pulverizing, and muddling. while vertical deformation increases soil compaction that changes soil physical characteristics.
