Isi artikelThis research aim to make appliance in the form of mobile robot that able to be controlled by microcontroler exploit the modulated infra red transmitter. This appliance consist of transmitter circuit, receiver circuit, and the robot driver circuit. Transmitter represent integrated of oscillator, amplifier, and modulator. At the receiver used infra red receiver module that able to demodulate the data signal which accepted from the transmitter.Research done by conducting scheme of appliance circuit and scheme of appliance program, to later then conduct measurement and perception of waveform at circuit which have been made. Result of test-drive indicate that infra red can be exploited as data communications media without cable with the interface of microcontroler, receiver, and transmitter. At its application, microcontroler used as the process of parallel data into serial to later then the serial data baited to the transmitter. At acceptance of modulation signal, microcontroler through the receiver doing contrary process, serial data which accepted turned into parallel data. The Parallel data will activate the motor driver circuit and output lamp. Oscillation signal which yielded by transmitter equal to 38 kHz with the data baud rate equal to 2400 Bps. The Communications of Data will be effective between receiver and transmitter put hand into distance less than five metre.
