Isi artikelOur institute has been engaged in developing and supporting the Vocational Readiness Test (VRT), which for the past 30 years has been widely used as a career - guidance tool in junior and senior high schools nationwide. The first version was developed in 1972 by the National Institute of Employment and Vocational Research, an organization affiliated with the Ministry of Labour (today the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare). It was subsequently revised in 1991, but no major reviews have been undertaken since then. However, in the more than 15 years since the last revision, the environment related to young people’s career and occupational choice has changed greatly.
