Isi artikelAll Final Garbage Disposal produce much leachate which made happen by garbage decomposition and rain. Leachate has big potential to pollute environment. The aim of this research is to identify the quality of leachate before and after the leachate is treated, and to identify the time spent by process of leachate to meet the effluent standard specially Biological Oxygen Demand (DOD). There are three ways to treat leachate: (I) natural aeration process, (2) natural aeration process with EM-4 edition, and (3) artificial aeration. The results of the research say there are 7 parameters leachate, which does not meet effluent standard before processing, and 4 parameters leachate, which does not meet effluent standard after processing. To meet the effluent standard specially DOD, the natural aeration process need 22 days, the natural aeration process with EM-4 edition need 20 days, and the artifIcial aeration need 9 days.
