Object reconstruction image extract characteristic points of the object from its image. There are many methods to extract characteristic points of the image. They can be classified into two groups, edge detection and corner detection. With the edge detection you will find edges, represented as lines. To get the characteristic points you must do extended process, while corner detection strictly finds the set of points. From the experiment found that corner detection is better than extract characteristic point from the image of object with ridge edge. To get smooth object use edge detection with extra process to get characteristic points.
