The existence of many carriers service company have exacerbated business competition amongst them. This may have impacted on security, safety, comfortable flight, and consumer protection. To what extent is the carrier's responsibility toward its consumer ? The aviation law, antional or international, explains the carrier's liability toward passengers, bagage and cargo as well as the third party in land that may suffer of financial lose or being dead caused by air crashed. There two types of the carrier's liability name strict or absolute liability principle and presumption of liability principle. THe strict liability means that the carrier always takes responsibility of passenger, bagage or cargo that may emerge during the time of carrier service, without proving of the carrier fault, whilst the presumption of liability has meant that the carrier has been considered as the responsibility party in the occurence of damage, air crash or accident unless can be proved that the carrier is not guilty.
