The Medical Profession and the Business Profession, with their respective ethical implications. Nobody will deny that health care is intertwined with the economic reality. This fact was never experienced so strongly as in our days. But this does not mean that health care may be put on a par with business. This article considers the different ethical frame-work of the business profession and the medical profession. The main difference is the orientation on self-interest, that is natural for business but is conflicting with a good (in the moral sense) medical practice. The medical practice can even become unethical when it js led by the same ethical standard that are accepted in the business world.
