Treatment of vitamin A deficiency especially xeropthalmia in Indonesia by year 1980's has decreased the disease by 90% of xeropthalmia cases. since our nation suffered from the never ending economic crisis, new cases of xeropthalmia have been reported lately. the treatment needs to be followed up by the goverment as well as the community. health community plays an important rule to prevent the increasing prevalence of xeropthalmia cases.
