The result have not been all that we hoped for. at least not yet. the letter two of these expectations, self-pacing and convenience, have been achieved, as have some other expectations not included in my list. lower-cost instructional delivery, rapidly updatable content, standard quality instruction for all learners regardless of location, reduced travel, and learning privacy have been achieved quite broadly.
