In a collaborative learning environment, use of information and communication technolgy (ICT) has the potential of intensifying connectivity between students and teachers, and among the students themselves. Through ICT, students and teachers can maintain contact from different palces and at different times. social-constructivist learning theory emphasizes the importance of collaboration for giving more meaning to new information.
