The main purpose of this research was to test the sex differences in career and gender role identity. The study also examined the relationship between sexes in both identities. There were 740 students participating in this study, who came from three different chinese private schools in negeri sembilan and melaka. To determine the identity statuses, the career and gender role domain in ego identity process questionnaire (chinese version) were used in this study. Results show that there was significant relationship between sex, career and gender rile idnetiy. The findings contributed toward the important information for the school counselor for career counseling and socio emotional deveopment among the adolescence.
