We are living at a time when federal decision-making in United States education seems based on the same strategies as those used by the action-heroes of Hollywood movies. this is demontranted by the policy approaches underlying the U.S. "No Child Left Behind" (NCLB) initiative (htpp;//www.nochildleftbehind.gov/), which attemps the "Star Trek" model of educational leadership.
