At present the liberation of the poor is no longer conceivable without the dialogue between the members of all religions. For the religions not only bear a great ersponsibility for the emergence of poverty but also harbor a substantial potential for its conquest. in the past number of years, insights from the theology of liberation have called for a dialogue with the theology of religions, especially in its pluralistic orientation. Even if this development is only tangible over the past five years, its roots can actually be traced back to the beginning of the theology of liberation..........
