It is indeed pleasure to introduction this special issue of educational technology magazine on "prespective on training and performance improvement in business". although the focus is primaly on business settings, the issue is highly relevant to both government and education as well. the professionals that i invited to write article were selected because they are outstanding practitioners and innovative thinkers.
