When a new technology is introduced in any field of practice, it is typically used to support the prevailing methods in that field. gradually over time people recognize that it can be used to create methods that were previously not feasible. and after considerable investment of time and resources to develop and refine those methods , the new methods frequently result in quantum improvement in performance (Kuhn, 1996).
