the challenge of defining the best roles and functions for technology in education is hardely new. researchers, developpers, and practitioners have been trying to formulate since at least the mid-1960s (Cuban, 1986). because of incresingly rapid technology innovation and development, what we believe to be the most effective ways to use technology to improve teching and learning today may be significantly different five years from now.
