The educational technology panel's high standards and comprehensive model for evaluating initiatives is an important expression of expert consensus agreement on quality educational technology (ET) programs. while the focus of the panel was on student learning, the panel's cruteria also included such isue as capacity to scale, organizational change and education renewal, and leverage for system-wide change as well as other components. among other positive benefits, the panel's work represent an important strategy for stimulating the development and use of high-quality ET programs.
