The purpose of this special section is to engage the field in conversations about quality in educational technology programs. it takes as the focal point the framework created by OERI's national expert panel on educational technology, as discussed and expanded in the paper by Confrey, Sabelli and Shengold, three members of the panel. leaders in educational technology then comment on the framework in the light of their experience and perspectives.
