Four year old children can normally walk, but it is almost difficult for then to learn how to walk with their body weight balanced on only one foot. The process of learning how to walk mainly related to children's growing process. Based on this fact, the process can be accelerated by doing some exercises. In kindergarten, one of the most expected gross motor skills to be mastered is walking on a balance beam. This is necessary in orderto observe a child's development in motoric ability and to train him in diligence and perseverance. The purpose of learning a child' s stability on a balance beam is to know the stability coefficient of a child that keeps him from falling off the beam. This is carried out based on the data achieved through some experiments. Stability coefficient is used to determine beam's dimension. The stability coefficient is a function of material elasticity and deflection the correlation of comparison between normalization elasticity of a child and material will yield a value less than one. This means that both normalization coefficients must not have the same value, because it can produce a resonance effect.
