Fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) is a composite material with the main components are glass fiber, resin and catalist. Tensile strength, flexural strength and lap shear strength are the main mechanical properties that use to design the FRP construction. This paper is describe how to find the FRP mechanical properties on based ASTM standard and BS standard. Then the experiment result are compared with the same mechanical properties of FRP on ASME RTP1a and BS 4994. The results of the experiment shows that tensile strengths and lap shear strengths all speciments are bigger than ASME and BS standard, but more elastic, and the flexural strengths of the all speciments and ASME standard are relatively the same value.
