The most important phase in a research is how to identify the problem. A principal in research, "if a problem have been formulated (or identified) correctly then only half of the problem left to be solved". If we formulate the problem wrong and we make a mistake during the process of solving it, then more problem will rise. The next phase is to find and use the right tools required to identify and analyze the problem. In ergonomics, there are a lot of tools that can be used to identify and analyze a problem so that based on the result of the analysis we can directly see the potential improvement need to be done. In this particular research, many tools are used to identify and analyze a problem, the are, 7 tools, seven waste analysis, working maps, 5S analysis. Based on the problem analysis, we can see the potential improvement that can be done by the company.
