Taguchi method is a robust design, which focus on increasing quality by minimizing the effects on certain factor changes without eliminating the factor itself. In a production process we often find products that does not satisfy the quality standard. One of the reasons is because an in correct machine setup. This literature research has the purpose to illustrate the algorithm of a production parameter setup in order to get the right parameter composition in a production process. It begins with identifying the factors, ANOVA Analysis, pooling factor (combining), setting the optimum level of combination, setting the average optimum prediction, and selecting the confidence interval. The data used was collected from a literature and is a secondary data associated to a casting process.
