Diabetic Gangrene is a medical problem which has a social anf economic impact on patient. Every year, it required hospitalization concerning diabetic fpoot lesion. Prevelece of Diabetic Gangrene in USA is 0.5% and 3.5% in Indonesia. Approximately 5 - 15% in USA and 3.0% in Indonesia required amputation. Tendency of a diabetic patient t become a gangrene was 5 times more than non diabetic. There a re 3 important factors take olace a diabetic gangrene. Firstly, peripheral neuropathy that leads to impairment of sensory function and weakness of joints and muscles, so it could facilitate of being trauma. Secondly macro and microanglophaty that frequently causing ischaemia of lowe limbs, and it was perdominantly factor leads to gangrene, and it makes the wound's tissue become resistance agains conventional therapy. Finally the wounds was easier infected to any kind of microorganism. In overcoming diabetic foot lesion, hyberbaric oxygen therapy as an adjunctive trearment is quite beneficial improving oxygen pressure of ischaemic tissue, so ti can accelerate healing. based on clinical experiences concerning HBO application in Indonesia, Lukman HS (1994) from Pertamina Hospital in balikpapan reported that since 1993 who treated 7 patients diabetic gangrene. Six patients (85.71%) were healed, but 1 (14.29%) being amputated. ......
