The Setiabudi Reservoir functions to receive rainwater from the Setiabudi area and part of Manggarai area. It was built to protect part of Setiabudi and its surroundings from flooding of 50 ha of land in the sixties. This reservoir consists of west and east sections. Each Setiabudi functions to collect rainwater from a catchment area of 140 ha with a reservoir area of 1.74 ha equipment with 3 pump units and each have a capacity of 1.1 m3/sec. West Setiabudi functions to collect rainwater from a catchment area of 170 ha with a resevoir area of 2.61 ha. It is equipped with 5 pump units with a capacity of 1.10 m3/sec installed in 1979. These pump function to distribute rainwater in resevoirs into Banjir Kanal, so that the level of surface water remains low and maintains good flow in banjir kanal. Nowadays, Setiabudi resevoir has a double function namely : 1) flood control and 2) treatment of plant and domestic waste of high rise building. The present analysis showed that Setiabudi Reservoir sections could only collect rainwater for a return period of 1 year and less than 1 year or eight months respectively.
