Isi artikelPreliminary study of ESR Characterization of Manganate sample CaMnO3. Magnetoresistance phenomenon is the property of some materials to lose or gain electrical resistance when an external magnetic field is applied to them, This phenomenon found at rare earth manganate material which nowadays has attracted much interest. Uppermost characteristic at this material is the magnetic phase transition from isolator (paramagnetic) to conductor (ferromagnetic) or on the contrary as the function of rare earth material concentration. CaMnO3 is one of the parental compounds which are used in rare earth manganate unti 1000 Celcius Degredd after grinding and milling the mixture of CaCO3 and MnO2. ESR measurement of CaMnO3 have been done at room temperature with sweep width 500 mT and frequency 9.47 GHz. Result of ESR measurement indicate that CaMnO3 is paramagnetic and this paramagnetism dominantly influenced by its elementary material MnO2.
