Because of that, companies must be able to compete and one tool that can be used by a company is compensation. If compensation programs are felt to be fair and competitive by the employees, the company will find it easier to attract high potential employees as well as maintain and motivation them to higher performance so that productivity will increase and the company is able to produce with a competitive price. In the end, the company will not only be competitive, but also able to remain in business and even increase profitability and develop the business further.
